Seeking Interviewees for a Documentary Film about Empowering Sex Workers
This short documentary seeks to celebrate and give voice to sex workers in the San Francisco Bay Area, and ultimately be a tool that can support sex workers in creating and growing community for themselves. We are looking to interview sex workers 18 and over who are willing to share their stories about how sex work has shaped their lives, sense of self and of community.
- The commitment involves one or two interviews and shooting.
- The time commitment is less than 5 hours total.
- We will provide coffee and snacks and a DVD copy of the final film.
This film is being made as part of the Documentary for Health & Social Justice course at San Francisco State University in collaboration with the Center for Sex and Culture. Our goal is to distribute the film widely in screenings, film festivals and to organizations as a tool to advocate for sex worker rights. For more information, call or email:
